Purpose
Assist the manager in achievement of the daily operational performance and sequencing process (safety, quality, and productivity).
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Protect the Safety of all Employees by enforcement of Safety Non-Negotiables
Use data to initiate Quality improvement and reaction plans to contain / resolve issues.
Maintain Float levels with target to ensure no holes or Customer interruptions.
Monitor production schedule to ensure that parts are available new step in production process.
Flex Labor as need to maintain production outputs.
Analyse Scrap results and set actions in place to maintain within target.
Ensure associates are following current Work Instructions
Provide direction/ assign tasks to operators.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES:
Build In sequence.
Respect Escalation Process.
Coach newcomers and develop team members.
Initiate MOR, CAR’s and other necessary steps within the established disciplinary process.
Participate in continuous improvement tools (POSITIVE, POMs, Focused Improvement Roadmaps, etc)
