Starting pay for this position is $16.83/hour. This is an Hourly position.
OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing according to established procedures and providing a safe environment, achieved by a reduction of microorganisms, for the benefit of patients, visitors, and Mission Partners.
Possesses technical skills required to properly use chemicals, equipment, and techniques of the Environmental Services Department. While executing the assigned tasks, the Floor Care Tech will have contact with patients and their family/loved ones. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should be appropriate to the specific demographics of patients served in assigned service areas. Responsible for responding favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignment to meet facility needs. The EVS Tech, in accordance with standards of quality, is an essential contributor to hospital disinfection and infection prevention.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 1 year employment in healthcare setting 1 year experience as a Floor Care Technician
