What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze high risk and/or high dollar claims to ensure accurate payment
- Review medical documentation to validate billing appropriateness
- Ensure claims processing compliance with regulations and guidelines
- Document identified issues to support claim adjustments
- Participate in special projects to support process changes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of related work experience
- Strong familiarity with coding and claims processing
- Knowledge of medical terminology, provider contracts, and claims processing procedures
- Proficiency in Diamond software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong analytics experience
- Consulting experience
- Ability to read and interpret medical records
- Clinical experience
