We’re looking for full time, permanent Shunter who can use an FLT driver to join our team in Doncaster, working on our site where we partner British Gypsum. You'll be working a minimum of 40 hours per week on the Mon-Friday 1400-2200 shift.
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of £14.33 per hr. With an additional payment of £2,73 per hr between the hrs of 1800-0600. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
· You will be working with Plaster products both by hand and by FLT
· Picking and assisting in loading goods in a safety conscious environment
· Loading and strapping vehicles and shunting duties if you have previous experience
· Effective use of MHE with on-going training available
Varied role could include but not limited to gatehouse duties, yard duties, H&S audits, inventory.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
· Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous and previous shunting experience would also be desireable.
· You must have previous experience of Counterbalance Forklift Truck. You must have an in-date FLT Licence (R.T.I.T.B or equivalent)
· Excellent communication skills
. Metal Picking/Packing advantageous. Shunt experience advantageous.
· You must be a team player and able to move heavy products by hand if needed
