Short Description

SAS Flight Dispatch (CPHOW) is looking for new employees for the training as a flight dispatcher. (Flight Operating Officer Trainee)

The training consists of 2 parts, the theoretical part which is offered by an external supplier and a practical part which takes place at SAS Flight Dispatch. The theoretical part is expected to take about 8 months, the practical part about 5 months. After completing the training and passing the application test, permanent employment at SAS Flight Dispatch is offered.

In connection with the application, applicants must undergo an entrance exam, person tests.

During the training, there will be skill tests and the training ends with an exam at the external supplier and an application test at the Danish Transport Authority.

SAS Flight Dispatch offers an exciting position in a dynamic and often busy environment.

The task consists of preparing Flight Plans and associated documentation for all SAS intercontinental flights, as well as analysis, optimization and calculations of fuel and weight on critical short routes.

Flow Management and support for other SAS flights.

Key Responsibilities

SAS Flight Dispatch is part of SAS Operations Control Center under the SAS Common Functions organization and has the following mission:

• Flight Planning
• Flow Management
• Flight Monitoring
• Operational Support for Pilots
• Operational Support for Operational Management

Professional qualifications:

Relevant aviation experience, preferably PPL (Private Pilot License).

Personal qualifications:

Fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish) and English.

Other of Importance

The positions are full-time (100%).

Working hours are rotating on 3-shift shifts. SAS Flight Dispatch is staffed around the clock, every day of the year.

Salary: Salary during the training is in accordance with the Lederne/SALDA collective agreement.
