Job Description

This person will maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and agency regulations in transporting meals from a central kitchen.Check vehicle and have ready to transport meals to assigned centers.
Check menu item list to ensure all food items have been loaded.
Place food pans in thermos for transport.
Deliver meals to respective centers.
Properly dispose of kitchen garbage.
Date and rotate merchandise utilizing first in first out method storing freezer items first, refrigerated items second and thirdly, dry goods.
Assist kitchen helper when necessary and applicable.
Deliver supplies to centers when necessary.
Make menu changes on center kitchen’s menu when applicable and advise center supervisor.
Adhere to Driver’s Agreement (attached).
Must attend all trainings deemed necessary by Executive Director to comply with TDFPS Child Care Minimum Standards and Performance Standards during the summer months.
Must conduct any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Must adhere to and maintain the obligations as described in the Confidentiality Policies of the Agency.
Must comply with Program Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Executive Director.
Must comply with Civil Rights Law.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Current skin test/food handler’s certificate.
Must have Class C drivers license.
Must have an automobile and current liability insurance for work related travel.
