- Field phone calls, texts, and emails from Food for Health participants, providing timely follow-up and compassionate customer service.
- Support Home Delivery Coordinator in contacting participants from referring partners who are eligible to receive a weekly food box and produce
- Support coordination of deliveries and troubleshoot any incomplete deliveries.
- Responsible for sending messages to participants through a texting platform, including a welcome message, weekly delivery notifications, and phase out messages.
- Create and maintain Link2Feed profiles for participants
- Maintain program information in a database.
- Handles confidential information with discretion and care, ensuring the privacy and respect of employees, volunteers, partners, donors, and others
- Report progress to Nutrition Manager and Food for Health Coordinator
- Commitment to fulfilling Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR) mission and positively representing the brand both internally and externally
- Ability to represent FBR with professional poise and work effectively with a wide range of constituents
- Demonstrates compassion and sensitivity to vulnerable populations
- Excellent organizational, time management and follow-through skills
- Ability to prioritize daily projects and assignments while meeting deadlines

- High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, healthcare, human services, program management, or food relief required
- Prior experience working with low-income communities preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and online technologies
- Experience using collaborative tools for file storage and sharing
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

The Food for Health Associate is responsible for coordinating medically tailored food boxes for patients who have been screened for food insecurity and have been diagnosed with a chronic disease which can be prevented or managed through nutrition.
This position is part-time and is grant funded with an estimated completion date of July 31, 2026.

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a non-exempt part-time position working approximately 20 hours per week. Work schedules may vary each week and are typically Monday-Friday, between 8:30 – 4:30 pm. Position is on-site in the metro Denver based distribution center.
Compensation:
$20.00 hourly
