Job Description
- Req#: 12008
- Receives all food deliveries according to “Receiving Worksheets” provided by buyers. To include sorting of pallets for proper receipt, storage, and distribution
- Ensures accuracy of products received against products ordered via “Receiving Worksheets”
- Ensures quality standards are in place at point of receiving for produce, meats, poultry, seafood, dairy products & bakery/pastry items
- Palletize, wrap, and label all goods for delivery to their proper outlet
- Completes receiver short sheet and notes deviations in quality, quantity or accountability
- Drive vehicles in a professional and courteous manner
- Work in a prompt and timely manner to ensure timely deliveries of perishable goods
- Ability to safely and correctly operate lift gate on delivery vehicles
- Transfers all palletized goods in staging area by pallet jack (manual or electric) to box truck for delivery
- Conduct thorough pre-trip safety inspection of assigned vehicle(s)
- Conduct effective communication with other team members via radios and cell phone
- Deliver all received goods to their proper outlet and have MOD/Supervisor sign for receipt
- Report any accidents or damage to a vehicle to Security
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
- Experience operating a forklift a plus
- Flexibility in schedule including working early mornings and weekends
- Occasional heavy lifting of 50 lbs. (occasional lifting up to 100lbs with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Strong interpersonal communication skills

Job Title: Food Receiving and Distribution Clerk
Job Pay Range: $18.00/hr.
