      Seeking a versatile, passionate Food Safety & Compliance Specialist interested in making waves in an innovative segment of the craft beer market.       Job Responsibilities:

      • Facilitating and maintaining food safety compliance and programs including but not limited to: Supplier Approval program/documents, Lot Traceability/Mock Recall Reports, internal GMP inspections, food safety corrective action documentation, and keg distribution programs.
      • Assist the Food Safety team with the maintenance of third-party certification within the work location
      • Develop and implement SOPs for our food safety programs
      • Organizes and files digital and physical files
      • Understanding of GMP inspections and ability to conduct unassisted
      • Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

      Skills and Experience:

      • Experience: Manufactured Foods Safety, beverage production, GFSI audit experience
      • Computer Skills: Required Google Suite, PDF, Microsoft Office
        • Netsuite-ERP skills a plus
      • Certificates, Licenses, registrations: PCQI Certification is required, SQF Practitioner preferred.
      • Travel Requirements: possible occasional travel for conferences or to assist CA brewery
      • Education: Note: 3+ years in manufacturing food safety role and/or 4-year college degree

      Job Details:

      • Location: Milford, CT, or San Diego, CA, breweries. In office X days a week required.
      • Salary: Commensurate with experience - Base salary and opportunities for performance bonuses. Salary range: $65k-$80k/year
