      About the Role:

      For our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Food Safety & Quality Auditor to join our Food Safety and Quality Audit department.

      In this role you will be responsible to conduct Quality Audits across the Ferrero value chain globally encompassing Product Quality, Food Safety, and Regulatory aspects. You will have visibility across all Ferrero Group products and value chain components globally.

      Food Safety and Quality Audit activities include Ferrero Group plants, Co-manufacturers, Co-packers, Hazelnut processing, Business Units and Supply Chain.

      As the Food Safety & Quality Auditor you will interact across many organizational functions such as Supply Chain Operations, Food Safety and Quality, Regulatory and R&D functions.

      Main Responsibilities:

      Covering this position, you will complete audits against the Ferrero Food Safety and Quality Audit Policy set (manuals, procedures, specifications) and identify risks. This will be accomplished by on-site visits to facilities and central functions that are part of the Ferrero value chain.

      As the Food Safety & Quality Auditor, you will be part of an Audit Team that is responsible for doing independent assessment of the audited site, verifying and reporting on compliance to the policy set and completing all required follow ups and preparation work to enable the Audit.

      The scope of your role will include all Ferrero Group production facilities (Food plants), warehouses, co-manufacturers, co-packers and re-packers present all around the world.

      From this position you may also be involved in assessing the effectiveness of programs executed locally within the Business Units in activities such as E-Commerce, Point of Sales, Perceived Product Quality.

      In addition, you will participate or lead projects within the Quality Audit organization to drive Organization development and participate in joint projects with other functions across Ferrero Group.

      You will play an active role being part of an organization that provides feedback to the Ferrero Leadership Team on opportunities for continuous improvement, key risks within the organization to enable effective corrective action through the organization.

      Who we are looking for:

      You will bring your university degree in Food Science, Biology, Food Safety or Quality and your 4-8 years of experience working in a plant environment as a Quality Supervisor or Manager with experience working in Quality, Operations.

      Your knowledge in Food Industry of Quality management systems paired with your previous experience in auditing across the manufacturing supply chain are key for achieving this role’s objectives. In relation to Commercial Quality, previous experience in a Food company within a Sales role, Consumer Management, Commercial Quality will help you cover this role successfully.

      You have practical experience of working in chocolate and/or biscuit, nuts or dairy manufacturing environment while having experience in ice-cream will be appreciated. Furthermore, you will bring your strong fundamental knowledge of Food Safety concepts in biscuits and confectionary along with Product Quality concepts and tools.

      In addition, you will bring your knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO 9001, GFSI benchmark standards) and an approved Quality Auditor status in FSSC 22000 or ISO9001 that is desirable along with certifications in other recognized audit schemes.

      You work with perseverance, and you are a person with functional technical skills, a problem solver with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills in English. You are experienced in working with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
