      Overview

      The Food Service Manager contributes to the success of the PepsiCo Beverages Canada by leading the sales and distribution strategy for a regional distribution center. This broad leadership role encompasses sales, customer service and marketing equipment and warehousing operations.

      Responsibilities

      • Maximize volume and revenue in a defined area in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment
      • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region
      • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
      • Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees on selling and display execution and merchandising standards
      • Develop strong talent pipeline with frontline Supervisors for export to larger roles within PepsiCo
      • Effectively lead delivery and merchandising operations through consistent delivery and merchandising standards in a Geo-Box environment
      • Effectively lead the warehouse and facility management operations
      • Effectively lead strong and positive labor relations with the Association
      • Develop, motivate and lead a large team of employees
      • Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs

      Qualifications

      • Post-Secondary Education, preferably in Business
      • Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative
      • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required
      • Demonstrated analytical and math skills required to build key insights for quarterly and annual operating planning and previous experience managing a large scale P&L
      • Strong communication and presentation skills required
      • Strong change management skills required
      • Consumer products experience in a direct store delivery environment required
      • Demonstrated computer proficiency
      • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
      • Strong change management skills required
      • Five years of people leadership required, preferably in a sales environment
      • Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle
