      **Ideal candidates will possess an Associates degree in general dietetics or experience that includes completion of an accredited food production management course may be substituted for a degree and 3 to 5 years experience coordinating food production in hospital-based settings. Additionally, prior leadership experience as a Food Service Manager is highly preferred.

      Responsibilities

      • Manage the food service operation under the direction of the System Manager of Food & Nutrition & Environmental Services.
      • Assure compliance with department regulations and procedures in conformance with the administrative and accrediting agencies' guidelines.
      • Assist in developing standards, policies and procedures for food services.
      • Manage within budgetary guidelines.

      Qualifications

      • Associates degree in general dietetics that meets approval of the American Dietetic Association (ADA) or experience that may include completion of an accredited food production management course may be substituted for a degree.
      • 3-5 years of experience coordinating food/environmental services in hospital, hospitality, or academic setting.
