Job Description
- Req#: 3730
- Assigned station set-up with needed items for service including but not limited to all food and menu items, utensils, paperwork, and service ware.
- Food and beverages are stored and handled in compliance with all regulations and recommendations for safety and storage.
- Responsible for proper cleaning and sanitation of station. Displays proper use and knowledge of chemicals, equipment and personal protective equipment.
- Work in dish room performing assigned function ensuring trays, dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized before returning to service Rolls silverware and lines trays as assigned.
- Dispose of garbage in appropriate manner.
- Restock work area for next meal and maintains par levels according to set standards.
- Perform related work as required.
- Lifting and/or carrying objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
- Pushing and/or pulling non-motorized equipment (e.g., stretchers, supply carts, mops) weighing over 50 pounds.
- Stooping and bending.
- Reaching and grasping objects.
- Walking and/or standing for extended periods of time.
- Position requires working in an environment which is subject to drafts, noise, and temperature variations.

Food Service Worker
Location: Johns Hopkins Bayview, 4940 Eastern Avenue
Hours: 5:30am-2pm and 7am-3:30pm to include every other weekend (rotating schedule)
Pay rate: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a variety of food service duties that involve simple and repetitive tasks to assure quality service standards. Works as a team member to provide quality and efficient service to the customer.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Six months of experience working in a similar work environment
Ability to work a rotating shift to include weekends
