Job Description

Will do some kitchen work until the first truck is ready to leave then will go to the jail and deliver the rolling insulated food carts to the 13 floors of the jail.
The carts are heavy, it requires strength to push them. It is very physical. After they are delivered, they will have lunch over there. Then cover another employee's lunch.
Responsible for cleaning and stocking 2 breakrooms. Then they will go back to the 13 floors and collect the food carts and take the to the driver.
- Prepare, assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions in a timely manner.
- Utilize kitchen utensils/equipment to cook, prepare and serve food according to recipes. Use proper utensils to serve menued portions and as appropriate to meet clients’ nutritional needs.
- This role includes physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.

- Required :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age
- Preferred :
- Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus

Wage Rate
$16.50/hour
