Position Summary
• Responsible for assembling, delivering & retrieving patient meals.
Education
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Licenses and Certification
Experience and Skills
• 6 months previous experience in food serviceRole Specific Responsibilities
• Maintains clean work area following all safety and sanitation guidelines
• Enters and reports cash transactions.
• Adjusts meals to meet the needs of the patient while following doctor’s orders
• Keeps all work areas adequately stocked with food, condiments, beverage and service ware.
• Washes dishes and utensils following Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines in all actions.
• Delivers and retrieves trays using required patient identifiers in all interactions.
• Attractively and accurately assembles patient trays.
• Follows established portion control guidelines when serving food and beverages
• Responsible for service to retail operations.
• Prepares meals using approved food sanitation practices
• Sweeps and mops floors using approved methods.Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
