- Create detailed scouting reports on opponents for each game for use by football coaching staff and student-athletes in weekly game preparation
- Create and analyze self-scouting reports on NC State following each game for use by football coaching staff and student-athletes in weekly game preparation
- Review and analyze opponents’ game personnel and create data-based reports for use by football coaching staff and student-athletes in game preparation
- Collect in-game statistical data, analyze in real-time, and share key metrics and trends with football coaching staff for in-game application
- Assist director of football recruiting and football recruiting staff, as permitted by NCAA rules and policies governing non-coaching staff members
- Meet regularly with football coaching staff to review and analyze profiles, evaluation forms and other information pertaining to prospective student-athletes
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring daily schedules of student-athletes, which includes classes and academic commitments, practice and conditioning, community service, etc
- Attend all practices, team meetings, games and other team functions, as requested and permitted by NCAA rules and policies
- Coordinate responsibilities with graduate assistants, undergraduate students and other football staff members, as requested and assigned
- Present/speak to large audiences at team meetings, recruiting functions, etc. as permitted by NCAA rules and policies governing non-coaching staff members
- Manage special projects as assigned by the Football coaching staff
- Additional duties as assigned by the Football coaching staff
This position will report to either the Defensive or Offensive Coordinator. Works closely with the football coaching staff, director of football operations, director of football recruiting, and other football support staff in the overall direction of a successful, Division I football program. Responsibility for technical football analysis, strategic research and development, detailed game planning, and related activities. Assistance with recruiting activities and other football program functions, as permitted by NCAA rules and policies governing non-coaching staff members.
