What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with case acquisition program planning, scheduling, implementation, execution, and risk management
- Develop and maintain program/project management documents, including financial management and critical path models
- Consult with clients to define requirements and address complex FMS challenges
- Communicate information to relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with FMS policies and directives
- Conduct surveys to collect and analyze data for recommending solutions to FMS challenges
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or six years of additional work experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency in Foreign Military Sales specific software and Management Information System (MIS) applications
- Knowledge of acquisition program management concepts, policies, and procedures related to FMS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex environments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in acquisition and logistics management activities in support of FMS programs
- Familiarity with Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation Directorate On-Line and DSAMS/SAMRS applications
- Background in Information Assurance (IA) and Special Defense Acquisition Fund (SDAF) management
- Previous experience working in a defense contracting environment
- Ability to thrive under extreme time pressures and conflicting requirements
