Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Supervise the Foreign Trade Thailand team/operator and conduct entity audits to determine export/import compliance and implement improvement projects including but not limited to Markings, Country of Origin, and Harmonized Parts Classification.
2. Support ‘Operations Source to Deliver Head of Department’ search initiatives for duty reduction opportunities on Misclassification of Parts and Customs Rulings.
3. Develop and implement risk assessments/gap analysis on International Trade issues within each region/country in which the company has legal entities (e.g. Free Trade Agreement (FTA) standard global process)
4. Track performance of Customs service providers, compliance programs and savings opportunities through KPI's for monthly reporting (Foreign Trade saving report)
5. Perform quarterly, service level analysis and reviews, with KPI's for regular reporting.
6. Support ‘Operations Source to Deliver Head of Department’ to develop and manage internal control programs for Export compliance as per region and country specific (e.g. HS code Master data, Import Control System (ICS) check)
7. Collaboration with all related parties in ASEAN/APAC (TAX, Foreign Trade topics, Foreign Trade projects)
8. External Customs (Post Audit, Surprise check,) and Internal Customs audit (CAU) for all relate topics of tariff classification
9. Foreign Trade Master Data project coordinator (engineering related background information and to transfer this Know-How into more duty savings for RBTA/Y)
