Job Description

Oversee a team of roof mechanics and laborers during installation, repair, or removal projects. Supervise equipment usage, monitor and report progress, and ensure adherence to project specifications. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations. Must be proficient in EPDM/TPO details. Ability to collaborate effectively with others and lead/help lead crew work on new construction and re-roof projects.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in managing crews within a commercial environment
• Expertise in commercial roofing, including single and double ply membrane work
• Possession of a valid NYS license and reliable transportation
• Proficient in EPDM and TPO roofing details

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Skilled in single ply membrane roofing
• Experienced with double ply membrane roofing
• Knowledgeable in roofing shingles
• Proficient in using hammers and power tools

Work Environment

The work involves commercial settings such as hospitals, colleges, corporations, and schools, primarily within the Rochester area and surrounding counties. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairport, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
