      What You'll Do:

      The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking a Forensic Audio/Visual Analyst in the Organized Crime Investigations Commission Section. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

      • Performs forensic analysis of audio, video, photographic & other evidence, whether analog or digital in nature, for investigation & court presentation
      • Conducts testing & preparation of audio, video & photographic evidence
      • Makes presentations to task force investigators and/or law enforcement agencies
      • Writes reports concerning the results of analysis & testing for investigators & court officers
      • Testifies as an expert witness in depositions & court hearings
      • Participates in proficiency testing in areas of analysis
      • Repairs damaged audio & video tapes for evidentiary purposes

      Undergraduate degree in Electronic Media, Media Studies, Time Based Media, Video Animation or a related field.

      OR 4 years experience in the operation of audio, video and photographic equipment.

      Preferred Qualification –-Experience in use of FFMPEG, Amped5, iNputAce, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects, or other non-linear editing software.
