- Maintain a database and system for processing and tracking electronically stored information (“ESI”), to include an Electronic Evidence Vault.
- Maintain Original Evidence Copies of Electronic Evidence Received from external parties.
- Download data received from external parties.
- Create working copies of Electronic Evidence Received from external parties.
- Determine nature and extent of processing needed by Litigation Support to facilitate access and review of ESI.
- Plan and coordinate efforts with law enforcement agencies involved in litigation team activities, including recommending best practices and procedures for collecting and producing ESI using available software so that ESI is received in the most accessible format.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve both software and hardware issues.
- Manages and utilizes Cellebrite and Magnet Axiom for complex file types and data downloads.
- Enter all tasks assigned within Knovos Manage (eZManage).
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, preferred college courses in Digital Forensic Science, Computer Science/ Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Criminal Justice, or a related field and two or more years work experience in computer hardware, network administration, or cyber-crime investigations.
- Ability to attain at least one (1) of the following certifications: EnCase® Certified Examiner (EnCE), AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE), Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME) Certification (CCME), or similar vendor specific certification within 12 months of hiring.
- Experience in forensic data collection and processing of Windows-based desktop and laptop computer systems. Must be able to use forensic tools such as EnCase® Forensic, Forensic Toolkit®, Cellebrite UFED, etc. under supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in dead box data acquisition methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to perform entry-level data collection and processing under direct supervision.
- Knowledge of the Federal Rules of Evidence (FRE) as they apply to electronic evidence.
- Experience in preparing affidavits and declarations under direct supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to manage one (1) collection or processing project at a time.
- Hands-on experience using Cellebrite and Magnet Axiom
- Experience with Knovos Manage (eZManage)
- Experience working with law enforcement agencies on electronic collections
- Experience coordinating with third-party software and hardware vendors

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
