      Fork Truck Driver, 3rd Shift

      Job Description Summary

      The forklift operator is responsible to load/ unload and move materials (trash/ recyclables/ Cardboard) by hand or with basic material handling equipment. Operate a variety of forklift equipment to load, unload and move materials around the Plant.

      Job Description

      • Pay: $20.35
      • Schedule: Sunday-Thursday. Sunday (7:30pm-6:00am), Monday-Thursday (9:30pm-6:00am).
      • Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
      • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
      • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
      • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
      • Comply with OSHA and SDS Standards.
      • Work environment will consist of regular exposure in a manufacturing setting.
      • Fast-paced environment and repetitive tasks.
      • Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, and pivot.
      • Overtime is mandatory and based on production schedule.

      Experience

      • 1+ years of previous industrial material handling experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
      • Training is available to candidates based on applicant experience in related fields.
      • Stand Up Fork Truck experience a plus.

      Skills/Knowledge

      • Ability to maintain forklift certification.
      • Ability to read and interpret written instructions and to write intelligible reports.
      • Knowledge of plant lay out including location of materials.
      • Plant safety policies and procedures.
      • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

      Education

      • High School Diploma or equivalent.
      • Must be certified by C&W Services to operate fork-lift before he/she can be put to work. (We will train you and certify you through CW Services).
