Loading and Unloading:
-
Safely unload inbound trucks each morning, verifying products against delivery documentation.
-
Load outgoing shipments accurately and securely to prevent damage during transit.

Product Staging:
-
Pull and stage appliances for next-day customer deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation.
-
Coordinate with Warehouse Associates to organize staged products effectively.
-
Customer Assistance (Will Call):
-
Assist Will Call customers by locating and retrieving their products for pick-up.
-
Provide courteous service, answering questions, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
-
Inventory Handling:
-
Rotate stock according to inventory management protocols, ensuring products are easily accessible.
-
Conduct routine inventory counts and report any discrepancies or damage.
-
Forklift Maintenance:
-
Perform daily safety checks on forklifts, including brakes, horns, and hydraulics.
-
Report any mechanical issues immediately and arrange for necessary repairs.
-
Safety and Compliance:
-
Adhere to all safety regulations, including safe driving speeds and load limits.
-
Attend regular safety training sessions and certifications.
-
Strong spatial awareness and ability to maneuver forklifts safely.
-
Ability to follow safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
-
Good organizational skills to maintain orderly inventory management.
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
-
OSHA 300 and Forklift certification required.
-
Prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment preferred.

Must be able to operate and maneuver forklifts safely for long periods of time
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
-
Corrected vision to normal range; normal hearing and talking is required for verbal communications

Ability to use a variety of office equipment and machines
Summary:
The Forklift Driver is responsible for unloading inbound trucks each morning, staging appliances for next-day deliveries, and assisting Will Call customers with their pickups.
