- Req#: FORKL005106
- Operates a forklift to move products and pallets throughout the warehouse in support of order pulling, receiving, stocking, truck loading, or for general warehouse activities.
- Pulls product to banding area to be banded making sure everything is labeled – showing a number on each specific unit and the number of total units and who packaged it.
- May restock product by moving product to bins while checking the quality of stock; tallies each bundle for system accuracy.
- Visually inspects aisles and makes a list of what stock is low and needs to be replenished.
- Must be able to operate a hand-held scanner and perform all inventory control functions.
- Must be able to pass all Novo forklift training and operate a forklift following all safety requirements established within Novo.
- Remains aware of possible hazards and maintains a safe work environment.
Position Summary
The person in this position will be responsible for safely operating the forklift for transferring products into the necessary locations of the warehouse.
Pay starts at $18 Hr
Shift - Monday - Thursday 1pm - 11:30pm
Benefits at 60 days
Essential Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications (Required)
• Must be able to safely and productively perform all essential functions, including physical requirements.
• Must be able to physically handle awkward product lengths and lift weights up to 50 - 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Must possess basic math skills, interpersonal/team skills, and reasoning skills.
• Must have the ability to operate a scan gun for inventory control to effectively manage the movement of all products throughout the warehouse.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience operating a forklift, specifically with weights 2500 lbs or more.
