      Job Title: Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

      Job Description

      We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to join our team at the Detroit facility, assisting with our Three Rivers project. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, with a focus on inventory management and material movement.

      Responsibilities

      • Count and manage inventory efficiently.
      • Operate forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse.
      • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
      • Communicate effectively with truck drivers and customers.
      • Work hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with mandatory training on the 1st shift for the first week. Overtime may be required twice a month on Friday/Saturday.

      Essential Skills

      • At least 2 years of recent experience operating electric forklifts.
      • Proficiency in driving sit-down electric forklifts.
      • Experience with cycle counting or inventory counting for at least 6 months.
      • Excellent attendance record verified by references.
      • Valid driver's license.
      • High School Diploma or GED.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with RF scanners.
      • Knowledge of shipping and warehouse processes.

      Work Environment

      The role is based on the warehouse/production floor, which is very clean and well-lit, prioritizing safety. The dress code includes wearing jeans, a shirt without logos or vulgar language, and steel-toed boots.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
