Forklift Operator

Pay: $20/Hour

Location: Tacoma WA

Shift: 7AM-4PM

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for helping out wherever needed in this fence/gate fabrication shop. Responsibilities include general clean up, shop organization, pipe cutting, and assisting with fabricating tasks. Candidates must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general clean up and shop organization
• Cut pipes and assist with fabricating tasks
• Operate hand and power tools as needed
• Help with welding tasks as a welder helper
• Operate forklift for material handling
• Follow blueprints and schematics during fabrication tasks
• Work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs

Essential Skills

• Experience as a welder helper
• Forklift operation experience
• Mechanical inclination
• Ability to read and follow blueprints/schematics
• Proficiency with hand and power tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in pipe cutting and fabrication
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments

Work Environment

This role involves working primarily outdoors, with some indoor tasks. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be prepared to work wherever needed. The work schedule is from 7am to 4pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tacoma, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
