  Position Description

  Ryder is immediately hiring Full Time Warehouse Case Pickers in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

  Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

  • Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour
  • Overtime Pay $30.00 per hour
  • Additional Pay $2.00 per hour
  • Sign On Bonus: Pays You $275 at 30 Days and $275 at 90 Days
  • Schedule: 2nd shift; Sunday - Saturday (Scheduled 4 days a week, come in 2 of the 3 days to get the additional overtime) Hours will be 4:45 pm - 3:15 am

  Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Must have adequate math skills
  • Able to recognize and read location codes and product codes
  • Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

  Responsibilities

  • Picking product and case pick.
  • Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap product as required.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment.
  • Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required.
  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.

  Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
