Job Description
- Req#: R-139210
- Read and interpret tickets to build pallets of slabs
- Operate forklift to load and/or move materials
- Supply production areas with needed materials from inventory
- Supports the manufacturing process through inspection and aid to machine operators
- Coordinates and requests material transfers
- Inspect slabs for defects
- Route doors through manufacturing
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Handling/stacking requirements
- Read/interpret schedules/tickets
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, stooping, excellent dexterity, must work at a fast pace, fast pace is physically demanding
- Strong eye/hand coordination
- Standing for long continuous hours
- Constant attention to detail and accuracy of material placement
- Concentration on proper lifting and ensure floors are kept free of debris
- Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to not have any disruptions in production and customer service
- Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Previous work experience in a production environment, preferred

Work Shift: Monday – Friday, 6 AM-2:30 PM plus overtime as needed.
Work Location: Kirkwood, NY
Pay: The hourly pay rate range for this position is $20.00 + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to Kirkwood and may not be applicable to other locations.
Overview
Set up and maintain the production line for safe labeling, and pulling of door materials. Performs general manual labor tasks including wrapping, lifting, and moving materials. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
