      Summary:

      The Forklift/Inventory is responsible for monitoring, maintaining inventory accuracy and moving materials within the warehouse utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment. This individual will complete cycle counts and replenish pick locations.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Research inventory discrepancies, making sure to reconcile them, as well as ensure materials are in proper locations
      • Perform replenishments following proper process and escalate issues to leadership for resolution
      • Cycle count raw materials, packaging materials and other goods as assigned
      • Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits, reporting any discrepancies
      • Must maintain a working environment that is safe for all employees and comply with any facility safety standards
      • Understand, support and execute all work in a safe manner using the established procedures, methods and safe working requirements
      • Supports customer order fulfillment by performing picking and/or packing functions on an as needed basis.

      Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

      • Previous experience is preferred
      • Distribution Center experience preferred
      • Experience with RF scan gun
      • Inventory tracking software helpful
      • Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self
      • Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
      • Ability to either stand or sit for extended periods
      • Ability to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stoop
      • Ability to grab small parts or hand tools with hands

      Physical Requirements:

      • Required to sit, talk or hear; frequently required to use hands to grip or feel; and occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
      • Vision and depth perception suitable for use of utilizing machinery and/or a computer
      • Manual dexterity suitable for use of utilizing machinery and/or a computer
      • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes which permits the employee to work in a warehouse
      • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-50 lbs
      • Ability to sit and stand up to 20-70% of the time comfortably, with or without reasonable accommodation

      • Must be comfortable working in a distribution center
      • The working area is primarily in a warehouse environment located around heavy equipment such as a forklift or pallet operator
      • Willingness to wear masks and safety vest
      • Working temperatures may vary from hot, cold, humid, wet or dry
      • Working hours may be extended and weekends may be required in order to meet business needs
