- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Inspect, diagnose, and resolve issues with stamping or forming presses and other heavy machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide repair and maintenance activities.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for mechanical work.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
- Work safely in environments involving oils, grease, solvents, and confined spaces.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining, rebuilding, or repairing mechanical presses or similar heavy industrial machinery.
- Experience working on stamping and forming presses.
- Proven troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in industrial maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive commitment to quality and safety.
- Vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field.
- Forklift and crane certification (or willingness to obtain—training provided).
- Exposure to manufacturing noise, lubricants, and chemicals.
- May involve lifting heavy parts, working at heights, and performing tasks in tight or awkward positions.
