What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist clinical pharmacists in building and maintaining independent formularies
- Organize and maintain pharmacy students and pharmacy resident schedules
- Collaborate with the manager on the residency program
- Serve as a liaison between clinical pharmacy staff and other departments
- Assist in the preparation of drug reviews and agendas for Clinical Advisory Board meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalency; Licensed Pharmacy Technician required
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience; PBM or healthcare experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong focus on work quality, including attention to detail and proofreading skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a pharmacy benefit management (PBM) environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and therapeutic drug indications
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and adapt to changing environments
