      Job Description Our client, a leading healthcare company, is currently seeking an accomplished Formulation Scientist to join the team. Here is an overview of the role: 1) Develop stable formulations of new and improved cosmetic products and liquid and topical pharmaceutical products in accordance with the Fleet R&D product development process under the guidance of the Innovation Manager 2) Participate in carrying out activities for process development and scale-up batch manufacture 3) Keep accurate documentation of laboratory work, especially laboratory notebooks and other regulatory documents, as needed 4) Generate SOPs as assigned by supervisor 5) Generate memoranda of inventions to cover novel findings and keep up-to-date with recent findings in OTC and cosmetic product development 6) Participate in meetings with Marketing to develop new product ideas and concepts 7) Assist supervisor in evaluating competitors’ products and provide ideas for new and improved products 8) Conduct formulation development activities and evaluations for assigned projects 9) Generate formulation documents and formulation development reports with supporting data 10) Execute small-scale batch manufacturing records and manufacturing batches for stability evaluation, provide samples for analytical testing, sales samples and consumer evaluations 11) Participate in manufacturing, packaging, labeling and release of clinical supplies in accordance with cGMP guidelines 12) Work closely with the AS group to develop specifications 13) Support processing with large-scale batches and new product launch manufacturing 14) Create and train on departmental SOPs as assigned by department management 15) Keep the supervisor regularly informed of activities 16) Keep track of work times in the department database 17) Perform other duties as assigned Critical Requirements 1) A university degree is required.
