What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate case information and facilitate meetings to support children and families involved in the child welfare system
- Write and issue legal reports based on case reviews and data collection
- Collaborate with a wide range of child welfare system partners
- Attend collaborative and advocacy meetings, including court hearings and community outreach activities
- Provide independent authorized transportation for work-related travel, including visits to foster care facilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, mental health care, education, criminal justice, or a closely related area
- Minimum of two years of experience performing case management or case review functions, or a higher degree in a related field
- Valid driver’s license or ability to provide independent authorized transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Nebraska’s Child Welfare System
