      The Opportunity

      This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has the passion and relevant skills to make a difference.

      The Recruitment Officer will provide significant support to the Marketing Officer and Qualified Social Work staff in the Fostering Service to maximise the recruitment of new Foster Carers, by maintaining an online and offline presence. The Fostering Recruitment Officer (Marketing) will manage the initial contact process for all foster carer enquiries, imparting knowledge of the fostering task by face to face enquiry, phone, email and post as appropriate.

      You will have a wide variety of responsibilities from supporting digital campaigns designed to generate enquiries from people wanting to be foster carers, through to running events in our community to raise awareness of the need for foster carers in Croydon. You will organise and implement a range of marketing and recruitment activities, including digital advertising, social media content, live chat and drop in events, supported by the Marketing Officer.

      About You

      The suitable applicant will have the following;

      Experience and qualification in a relevant field which may include; Marketing, Customer Service, Recruitment, Social work, Teaching, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Youth Work, Counselling, Probation, Health professions, Education, Early Years.

      · Fostering Knowledge: An understanding of foster care is essential. Support & training will be provided

      · Marketing: An understanding of digital marketing is essential

      · Customer service skills are essential

      · An understanding of promotional marketing and customer relations: including content creation, effectively managing and maintaining social media platforms i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
