  What you'll be doing:

  • Drive Data Preparation: Lead data preprocessing, rigorous feature engineering, and the creation of high-quality datasets for model training and evaluation.
  • Design for Scalability: Work closely on the AI system architecture to ensure long-term scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Innovate with Vision Language Models: Develop and enhance state-of-the-art Vision Language Models to improve document parsing accuracy.
  • Create Robust ML Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain efficient ML pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment.
  • Productionize with Assurance: Take charge of deploying and monitoring ML models in production, focusing on optimal performance and stability.
  • Collaborate and Influence: Engage with founders and early clients to understand their needs, contributing to product evolution and engineering strategies.

  What you'll bring to the team:

  • Proven ML Expertise: 1-5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, effectively implementing ML systems in high-stakes areas such as Health, Finance, or Government.
  • Strong Technical Background: Proficient in Python and major AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Model Training Experience: Experience in training various ML models and building comprehensive ML pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Vision Language Models: Solid experience in Visual Language models and Computer Vision techniques, preferably with Document Processing or OCR expertise.
  • Production-Ready Approach: Skilled in all stages of productionizing ML models, including deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: A strong academic background in Machine Learning, AI, or Computer Science, with a genuine passion for the field.
