Job Description

Operate hand held grinders to safely remove excess metal from inside and outside castings
Verify fit accuracy by correctly using gaging with different thickness feeler gages
Utilize hoist to manipulate castings to the proper position for fitting/gaging
Keeping track of the part Identification
Correctly fill out shift pitch board to include current pitch and reasons if pitch is missed
Keep work station in good order for the next shift/operator
Occasionally the Fitter will move by hand gaging weighing up to 50 pounds

Previous experience in manufacturing is a plus
