- Executes onsite supervision of all frac jobs.
- Performs a full range of supervisory regarding hiring, training, performance, recommendations for promotions, demotions, and termination of employment.
- Ensures that all relevant Flying A policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
- Reviews the job parameters and specifics with appropriate personnel in the preplanning stages of the job.
- Verifies all dispatch information, load information, fluid, chemical, and equipment are ready for service.
- Instructs crew members in job procedures, route to location, convoy procedures, rig-up assignments, job assignments, monitoring safety equipment, monitoring communication equipment, and reviewing any special conditions.
- Confirms DOT regulations are observed by all drivers.
- Communicates with the customer regarding the job before start, during, and after service complete.
- Directs and supervises the designated representative to begin the equipment spotting procedure.
- Conducts safety meetings with crew as required by the customer and Flying A.
- Reviews the finished project with crew when service is complete and oversees clean up to prepare for return to home base.
- Prepares reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspects work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
- Instructs staff in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment.
- Investigates complaints about service and equipment and take corrective action.
- Oversees equipment maintenance to ensure that it is in working Confirm all equipment is operational.
- Identifies and recognize changes in circumstances, with attentiveness to security violations or emergency situations.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two to four years of work-related skill, knowledge, experience, or vocational training preferred.
- Maintain Class A license with hazmat endorsement in good standing as required.
- Complete and abide by all safety and other provided training.
- Appropriate communication skills for coordination of the well service activities with crew members and supervisory staff.
- General knowledge of principles and processes for providing good customer, and personnel services.
- Sensitive to confidential information.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Must work independently, and as a member of a team.
- Bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting stand, walk, kneel, stoop, squat, pull, push, climb, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and see and standing (occasionally) for long periods of time.
- The essential duties of this position require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying.
- Must be able to position oneself to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics, and tunnels and demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels, vibrations, and bright lights; and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases; and all climate types including hot and cold temperatures, humidity, rain, snow, etc.
- Able to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hats when needed.
- React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
- Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.

This position will be based out of our facility located in: Gainesville, TX.

Position Summary : The Frac Service Supervisor provides onsite supervision for all frac jobs. You will act as the company’s representative in dealing with customers on site. Prepare ready-to-work procedures with the service crew to include chemical loading, fluid testing, safety equipment, DOT requirements, and customer work orders. Communicate any special instructions to other management or crew staff. Coordinate and supervise activities of transportation and material-moving equipment. Oversee all crew job activities from leaving home base to servicing at the job locations and return to home base.
