Primary Responsibilities:
- Process card disputes and analyze card fraud patterns and trends
- Conduct in-depth research within banking systems to investigate fraudulent and high-risk activity
- Analyze data for trends and develop strategies to reduce risk and fraud
- Take necessary action to prevent additional fraud and work on fraud cases
- Communicate with customers who are victims of fraud
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of fraud detection methods
- Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Call Center, and IT teams
- Communicate significant issues to management and make recommendations for improvement
- Balance priorities to meet multiple deadlines
- Participate in special projects and fulfill other assigned duties as required
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in general banking operations
- 2+ years of experience in payment fraud investigations, card fraud investigation, or financial crime risk management
- Intermediate experience with MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in application, transaction, and payment fraud, particularly ACH and card fraud
- Database software query experience (e.g., SQL, VBA, Access)
Additional Information:
- Salary range for residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington is $56,300 to $110,400, based on factors such as education, work experience, and certifications
