      Position Overview : This position's primary purpose is to influence Fraud awareness both internally within our team and cross-departmentally by viewing all things through a Fraud lens in order to influence upstream and downstream processes and initiatives.

      This position will do so by proactively engaging with other Lines of Businesses across Shipt, raising awareness to incoming changes, identifying gaps in existing and incoming processes, evaluating and making recommendations on potential fraud risk and general risk across various channels.

      This position will support the Director and Manager of Fraud as well as the Fraud team. This position will support the front line team by leveraging the team’s work to identify trends and conducting analysis that can drive change on the fraud team - operational efficiencies, fraud strategy, etc. They will support Fraud leadership and the Fraud organization by discovering issues, analyzing trends that can be socialized with the appropriate key stakeholders in other organizations and drive changes that positively impact the P&L and member experience.


      How you can make an impact:

      • Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization to provide insights and make recommendations to enhance internal policies and tools in order to detect and prevent fraud.

      • Leverage analytics, data and appropriate lean tools to guide decision making, resourcing and prioritization of work.

      • Lead root cause analysis, and deep dive investigations to drive business goals and KPIs.

      • Foster an iterative mindset when working with teams to identify gaps in current-state processes and ability to scope work that creates solutions to minimize risk, improving quality and financial KPIs.

        • Continuously and proactively update training and procedure documents to reflect changes.

      • Compile monthly production reporting in an easily digestible format for Fraud Leadership.

      • Conduct Monthly QA reviews for the team.

      • Conducting analysis and completing well written presentations/ reviews on findings

      • Ability to work quickly to gain a full understanding of all aspects of Shipt’s business and each department's role in order to evaluate, understand, and fill gaps.

      Communication

      • Learn new processes quickly and challenge process gaps in real time, drive conversations, all while building strong working relationships with internal and external teams.

      • Translate technical information and data insights to non-technical audiences.

      • Develop, synthesize and summarize the business use cases for operations teams(Our team and others), propelling efficient work with cross functional technical teams.

      About you (Requirements):

      • Self starter with the ability to meet deadlines. A successful candidate is one who is proactive, seeks to add value and understands how to fill the “gaps”.

      • Comfortable with autonomy in the workplace and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

      • Must have highly proficient/ excellent verbal and written communication skills. Communicating with various levels of leadership and other stakeholders across the company regarding sensitive issues is a must as well as the ability to present your ideas in a clear and concise manner.

      • Confident in data analysis and quickly digesting large amounts of data to form meaningful insights, through advanced Excel use or comparable software.

      • Works well in a team environment.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience in relevant roles)

      • Prior background in Project Management or Continuous Improvement a plus

      • 5+ years experience including fraud, project management or continuous improvement role(s) in an operations environment

      • SQL (reading and writing queries)

      • Experience with MicroSoft Office and Google suite products

        Will be required to be in office for key events, however not required to be in office on a regular cadence. Candidate local to Birmingham and surrounding areas preferred.

      Work Arrangement:

      Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis.
