Data AnalystColumbus, OHMust Have: Advanced SQL skillsExcelMicrosoft PowerPointSASTableauFraudBankingROLE:This is an analytical role focused on both fraud performance analytics but also for another helping to build from the ground up our reporting infrastructure.Candidate needs to be able to seek the data find the data be a self starter be relatively independent in their work but have the technical skills better knowledge to dig into things and be able to put data into format that team can start building out reporting infrastructure.All MUST HAVES (Advanced SQL skills, Excel. Microsoft PowerPoint, SAS, Tableau) are important, data is in different areas so they will need to be relatively agile in their ability to use different programming or coding languages for SAS and SQL they're going to have to write from scratch very targeted accurate queries that hold data but also don't over tax any servers we may be connected to they're going to have to be able to speak a very vast technical language on the database structure. Candidates will also have to make some key adjustments within their query to account for formatting different things that may fall within the database. Mgr really looking for someone even goes beyond that on the advanced skill set - someone that understands both the data but also the need enough to take that data to what we're looking for, so if there's access to their data sitting there, that maybe we didn't directly ask for or information that we didn't directly want in our output, they have the foresight to know that it is still useful and plug it in.BACKGROUND:Mgr would love someone from FraudThe ability to generate the right queries and get the data in the right way is more critical than Fraud background.BENEFICIAL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:finance, risk or audit financeAbout the company
