What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review account activity to identify risks and prevent losses due to fraudulent activity in member accounts
- Process ATM and debit card disputes in compliance with regulations and internal procedures
- Assist in identifying fraud trends and recommending mitigation strategies
- Report fraudulent activity that meets Bank Secrecy Act reporting requirements
- Collaborate with various lines of business to review suspect membership and loan applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of related investigative experience with an emphasis on consumer account fraud
- 4-year college degree or equivalent; combination of education and experience may substitute
- Strong knowledge of banking products and services and current fraud trends
- Familiarity with banking regulations such as the Uniform Commercial Code and Regulation E
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
