What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze fraud alerts and trends across various payment channels to mitigate risk
- Review fraud detection system-generated alerts and take decisive action based on established procedures
- Maintain accurate audit trail reporting of alert activity and resolution
- Initiate investigation cases on confirmed fraud events and support Fraud Investigations
- Develop and update procedures related to monitoring and detection of fraud
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-7 years of experience in the Banking/Financial industry, focusing on Digital Payment Operations
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in a fraud detection role
- Strong knowledge of Banking Regulations and fraud prevention tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Strong analytical skills to identify weaknesses and root causes in systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Verafin Tool or other fraud detection Behavior Analytics tools
- Skills in fact-finding, analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Prior experience in training or mentoring new team members
- Knowledge of national and world fraud trends related to digital payment fraud
- Familiarity with case management and alert systems for fraud detection
