Course Dates: August 21 to October 9
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday are on campus
Time: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Clinicals and BLS: the school will confirm the dates
NA Exam: written test and skills test; dates will be determined by the school

- Once you pass the course, show active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry, and have BLS certification you will be able to start your position!
- Before enrollment into the program an offer is required at one of the hospitals listed above in the Overview section.
- Minimum one year employment with M Health Fairview is required.

ResponsibilitiesThe Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting the professional nurse/caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patient and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and the reordering and stocking of supplies. The Nursing Assistant does not work autonomously but works under the direction of a professional nurse. The Nursing Assistant may be given a patient care assignment based on unit needs and the discretion of the manager/charge nurse. Performs other duties as assigned
