      About Our Program

      Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business which they choose to pursue. For 10 weeks, interns will share in the unique culture & perks found at our Home Office in the historic Philadelphia Navy Yard, while developing the skills to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment. Our paid internship program also offers a summer full of intern focused events including exposure to our senior leadership across the business in small group settings, insight into company initiatives, off-site field trips & for those qualified a chance to interview for a full-time job opportunity.       The URBN 2023 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/3 through 8/9 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

      Overview

      This hybrid role will focus on the cross-functional design departments of Print and Textile Design. The internship will give broad exposure to the print artwork process and the structural textile design process. The intern will be exposed to big-picture concepts and technical development of fabric and print trend presentations.

      What Will You Be Doing?

      • Attending weekly yarn dye and print artwork handoff meetings with design
      • Utilizing NED Graphics Easy Weave and Print Design Software to aid in creating textiles and prints
      • Assisting in building the physical fabric and print concept presentations
      • Tracking and scanning in fabric developments as part of team organization.
      • Aiding in the digital documentation of the seasonal fabric and print presentations

      What You Will Bring!

      Creativity and a positive Attitude! A willingness to learn and try new things. You are innovative, inventive, artistic & detail oriented.

      Print and pattern repeat knowledge, basic construction understanding of knits and wovens, diligent organization skills and big-picture thinking, a strong sense of color, the ability to apply feedback and change direction quickly, and strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
