Job Description

- Assist in receiving and returning products to and from the Distribution Center
- Transfer items and log inventory movements in the Warehouse Management System
- Organize and sort all inbound inventory
- Identify and track daily stock issues (damages, inventory discrepancies, labelling, etc.)
- Carefully unpack and/or assemble ready-to-wear, accessories, self-care, and/or home, tech, activity products
- Gather props and/or any additional items required from the Styling closet
- Ensure garments are prepped and photoshoot ready (steam / iron clothes, etc.)
- Assist the Merchandise Team by tracking any samples received for all product categories (ie. makeup, tech, ready-to-wear, etc.)
- Work closely with the Set Coordinators and Producers to ensure photoshoot objectives are attained
- Provide support on-set during photoshoots when required
- Monitor supply requirements and inform Team Lead on needs
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety measures in the preparation room
- Support the department by performing various studio tasks as required
- College or bachelor’s degree in Fashion marketing, Business administration, or related field
- 1 year of coordination or retail experience
- Written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Knowledge of textiles and garment care
- Interest in fashion, styling and e-commerce photography
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Knowledge of WMS systems, an asset
- Understanding of warehouse operations, an asset
- Must be open to work evenings and weekends as required
- Ability to walk 5 km per day with equipment and/or stand for extended periods, when required
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 30 lbs
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
- Goal oriented, self motivated, and demonstrates a willingness to learn
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to change
- Detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills

Job Description
The Studio Assistant position is a paid opportunity to work in the SSENSE studio alongside Stylists, Coordinators and Photographers. Reporting to the Studio Assistant Coordinators, the Studio Assistant will ensure photoshoot operations run smoothly for all product categories by managing pre-production activities. Working as part of a multidisciplinary production team that answers to daily studio planning, they will be responsible for all aspects of the flow and quality care of items, from the arrival of products to their return to stock. The ideal candidate will ensure proper management and preparation of all products to be styled and produced, contributing and gaining valuable knowledge in different areas of studio production.
