      Job Description for Release of Automotive components (PDM) – Release Management

      Education & Training:

      B.E (Mechanical / Production/Automotive),

      Relevant Experience Required:

      About 0 to 4 years of experience in Release and Engineering Change Management for Automotive components, Software/Hardware components. Must have had worked with Global Companies (German OEMs/Tier 1s preferred)

      Skill Requirements:

      1. Product Data Management and Documentation Activity, Releases through PLM Tool (team centre)
      2. Knowledge of Change Management, Variants Control & BOM management
      3. Release knowledge of Automotive components/ Electronics (Hardware & Software)
      4. Experience in MB Norms and DBL standards, DIALOG and SMARAGD (Optional)
      5. Knowhow of CAD Tools (NX)
      6. Intercultural Experience: Minimum one years of Onsite experience or working exposure in Europe/ European clients. Must be able to interact with the German teams.
      7. German Language will be an added advantage.
      8. Must be a Team Player & also shoulder individual responsibility
      9. Microsoft office skills with good Excel knowledge, power point presentation

      Job Responsibilities:

      1. Release of Automotive components through PLM Tools, (NX) and support in Change Management Activity
      2. Part Positioning and Trafo Updations
      3. Creation of Software/Flashwares, Storage of Software in EDLS server, Mapping of Code data to Flashware/Software in EPDM
      4. Monitoring/Tracking Releases/FiFA@EE Issues
      5. Assigning/Creating Part No’s for Software & Hardware components
      6. Checking, storing, Releasing CAD Data and Drawing (Basic NX)
      7. Perform Product Data Management/Release tasks based on customer requirement
