- Ensure anyone entering an Academy building has valid identification and / or assist with issuing visitor passes as needed.
- Provide directions regarding room locations.
- Conduct intake of concerns reported and troubleshoot or escalate to Campus Safety management as needed.
- Complete a walk-through of buildings as assigned each shift and open / close doors and turn on / off lights as instructed.
- Serve as a Title IX mandatory reporter, which requires reporting information to the Title IX Officer as soon as they become aware of alleged discrimination or harassment on the basis of sex or gender. This includes, but is not limited to, alleged sexual assault.
- Support with special events as needed.
- One year of professional customer service experience.
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills.
- Have a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Be team-oriented and solutions-oriented.
- Anticipate needs of others and take measures to provide effective support.
- Time management skills are necessary. Be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency with important matters.
- Possess basic computer knowledge in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Campus Hosts are the first point of contact for anyone visiting an Academy location. They are responsible for welcoming visitors and providing continuous support to our blended population of students, faculty and staff. This is a great way to get your foot in the door at the University and will enable you to learn about the school and develop skills for other potential opportunities.

Pay: $19.50/hour
Any hours worked between 11:00 pm and 6:59 am are paid an additional $1.00 shift differential.
Both full-time and part-time shifts are available, including days, swing and overnights.
Campus Hosts may be scheduled up to 40 hours per week for 37.5 weeks per year. Hours are scheduled during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters but that means you have time off in between semesters to pursue personal endeavors before a new semester begins again.

Full time employees working 40 hours per week for 52 weeks per year will be eligible to accrue vacation based on years of service (15 days' accrual at start). The Academy also offers full-time employees an opportunity to take one undergraduate course tuition free each semester. Employees also have access to our multi-lane swimming pool, fitness center and recreational programs, including our NCAA Division II events.
