      As a Front Office Coordinator at Northern Edge Physical Therapy, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for our patients. You will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and callers, ensuring exceptional customer service and facilitating the smooth flow of daily clinic operations. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask will contribute to our clinic's overall success and reputation.

      Job Duties:

      • Perform administrative duties in a compassionate manner to ensure proper reception, scheduling and billing for all physical therapy services and specialized programs.
      • Responsible for all aspects of patient reception to ensure that each patient contact has a positive outcome and contributes towards treatment success.
      • Develops a balanced schedule to ensure compliance with referral limits, insurance restrictions and maximize patient access to therapy services.
      • Establishes a strong liaison with administrative representatives of billing, insurance providers, referral sources to remain informed and knowledgeable of any issues related to the administrative limits and guidelines on provision of physical therapy.
      • Maintain a consistent pattern of follow-up with therapists, patients and referral sources to ensure the medical chart is up to date with current insurance verification, referral and supporting documentation.
      • Perform routine collections of co-pays and deductibles to ensure that fees for services are remitted at the time of service. Offer payment plans or cash-programs in situations where the patient has limited financial resources to access services.
      • Organize all reference materials (insurance contracts, verification, script renewals, payment plans, etc.) and perform routine reports (scheduling, appointment analysis, etc.) to ensure compliance with patient plan of care and insurance guidelines.
      • Perform tasks in compliance with the policies and procedures.

      Qualifications:

      • High school graduate or equivalent
      • 1+ years of previous medical front office experience
      • Excellent telephone skills
      • Proficient in Word and Excel
      • Previous experience with medical software preferred
