      Primary Mission

      Responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing excellent guest service, and settling accounts upon checkout. The role involves working regular front desk shifts with potential for other shifts based on work needs.

      Scope of Work & Team

      • Reports to the Front Office Manager/Night Manager and Supervisors
      • Supports the front office, sales, and guest experience teams

      Responsibilities

      • Register guests, manage reservations, and assist with concierge duties as needed.
      • Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, room types, rates, and availability.
      • Pre-register, modify, cancel reservations, and process guest check-ins and check-outs.
      • Communicate hotel services and amenities to guests.
      • Maintain guest history files and accurate accounts.
      • Handle VIP and upgraded accommodations, overbookings, and guest requests.
      • Resolve guest complaints and ensure satisfaction.
      • Maintain work area and handle financial transactions securely.
      • Coordinate with team members and communicate effectively.

      Qualifications

      Experience:

      • At least 1 year of front desk experience in a hotel or related field.

      IT Skills:

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems (OPERA preferred).
      • Typing speed of 50 WPM, professional communication skills, bilingual a plus.

      Education:

      • High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

      Additional Skills:

      • Calm, positive, energetic, and service-oriented attitude.
      • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and follow directions carefully.
      • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
      • Knowledge of arithmetic and data entry.

      Other Expectations

      • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
      • Availability for occasional travel and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
