      We are seeking a reliable, professional, and patient-focused Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at a fast-paced, multi-provider family medicine practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to multitask.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Patient Interaction & Front Desk Duties:

        • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.

        • Check patients in and out efficiently while verifying demographics and insurance information.

        • Collect co-pays and balances at the time of service.

        • Ensure all required paperwork is completed and scanned into the EHR system accurately.

      • Phone & Scheduling Management:

        • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously using multi-line phone system.

        • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments with accuracy and attention to provider-specific guidelines.

        • Route calls and messages appropriately to clinical staff or providers.

      • Insurance & Eligibility Verification:

        • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments.

        • Obtain and input prior authorizations or referrals when necessary.

        • Understand and communicate basic insurance requirements (co-pays, deductibles, out-of-network concerns).

      Qualifications:

      • Prior experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family medicine or primary care.

      • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), preferably eClinicalWorks.

      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.

      • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

      Preferred:

      • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

      • Knowledge of insurance plans and billing basics.
